QWL is a beautiful 39' Beneteau sloop that Nancy and Martin offer for special events on San Diego Bay and off the Southern California and Mexican coast. You can spend the day, evening, weekend, week or just a few hours training, conducting a meeting, team building or just relaxing with the additional benefit of the downtown San Diego Marriott Hotel conference rooms and amenities.
The Beneteau Oceanis 390 was designed by Philippe Brian for ease in sailing and comfort. With a 4'6.5" draft and wing keel, and 6'6" headroom, QWL allows you to go where other boats can not go, which is especially important when Bay Sailing.
As soon as they step into QWL's saloon, your guests will smile. Her comfortable settees and horse-shoe shape seats will sit seven around her big table. Her wrap around overhead lighting make air and light a part of life aboard, setting the cabin aglow with sunlight. At night when privacy is more important than light, stiff sliding shutters pull across the skylights.
QWL is a fully equipped yacht. She has two heads, two showers, a propane stove, microwave oven, fridge, an out door bar-b-cue and freshwater shower on the step-aboard transom, lighting in each of the ample hanging lockers, radar, autopilot, loran, GPS, depth, speed, wind, direction, SSB, (3) VHF, land-line telephone and fax, electric windlass, cockpit ice chest, indoor and cockpit stereo, self furling jib, mechanical vang, spreader lights, hot and cold water, water maker, 50hp Perkins diesel, instrument repeaters at the helm and more.
For the navigator there is room to work, to stow charts and operate the IBM chart-link navigation software tied into the GPS. And the big well-ventilated and functional galley will tempt everyone to try their hand at cooking.
QWL is berthed at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina, right in the heart of the historic Gas Lamp district next to Seaport Village, the new downtown ball diamond and convention center.
